In Pacific Island indigenous cultures, Kava is used to bring peace, relieve anxiety, stress and pain, reduce inflammation, accelerate sleep onset and relax muscles. Dosing: 

This is a VERY STRONG kava, fresh pressed and direct from the grower. Start with 1/4 of a gummy and assess impact. Do not take a full gummy without first trying smaller amounts. One gummy contains 170 mg of Kava. The therapeutic dosage is in the range of 50-70 mg Kava up to three times daily.

Method of Action:

Hawaiian Kava contains a group of compounds called kavalactones, which are responsible for its soothing and calming effects. Four lactones in Kava have been found to have significant analgesic and anesthetic effects via non-opiate pathways. Kavalactones are structurally similar to the neurotransmitter GABA and act on the GABA-A receptors.
